The Simple Things

Hello Everyone! I know it has been awhile since I've posted, and I promise I have great excuses reasons for it. I have been extremely busy at work this week, getting everything squared away with menus for suites and our champions lounge for the end of the season, working on timelines for my 8(and counting) upcoming events, and of course enjoying a lovely day off!

So without further delay, let's play a little catch up. First, we missed out on Workout Wednesday (I know you are all as sad as me that you didn't have to read about burpees and I don't have to tell you the long drawn out story about me barely being able to squat after going HAM on Deadlifts.
PS we also got a leaderboard...needless to say I have a new incentive

Now for the best part of my week, yesterday MY DAY OFF!

I will be spending my weekend at sporting events, and so I was lucky enough to get to enjoy an amazing day off. Now, this may go down in my book as one of the best days off...allow me to explain

It started with me having a fashion show in my apartment, with my week-long slumber party guest
Then I proceeded to drive down to Houston to have lunch with Cousin, Rachael, who now works for my Alma Mater
I then spent the afternoon running around campus catching up with various folks and beginning the plans for what is guaranteed to be the BEST SWIMMING REUNION in Rice History EVER!!!

After all of my canoodling around campus, I had my first experience at

Outdoor patio, perfect weather, great company and a delicious mojito...where can you go wrong?

I then proceeded to rock out to some 90's pop (Baby One More Time anyone?) all the way back to Huntsville. It was a great ending to a perfectly peaceful and stress-free day! Definitely thinking that some more Houston trips are going to be made in the future!
Till then, everyone enjoy the great football games this weekend...and I know I'm gonna hear it from some people but I am definitely rooting for the Aggies tomorrow against Bama! Have a great weekend!!
