Happy Hump Day Everyone!
So this past week, I actually did pretty decent on my working out, I did take some time off from Crossfit over the weekend, but still managed to get in some paddle boarding...and my triceps are still sore :-(
Anyways here are this past weeks' WODs:
Now today we are going to focus on the movement from the first WOD...the Burpee. If you are not familiar with a burpee, allow me to explain
So basically our trainer, Josh, decided that he enjoyed watching us all jump up and down so much, that he wanted us to do it for a consecutive 7 minutes!!!!
Needless to say I not only wanted to walk out of class, but had to fight the urge to run away. And let me tell you, anytime I think running is a better option...you know it's bad! In the end I decided not to let Josh or the burpees win and ended up doing pretty decently on the workout, oh did I mention that he made us sprint a mile before these lovely burpees?
I feel like after that specific workout, I could do anything...like eat a big piece of pie from Farmhouse. Now if only we could get the restaurants around here to get on our level
Until then, I guess I will just have to eat my pie in ignorant bliss!
