The Annexation of Puerto Rico

Hello Blog Land, I know that I promised a recap on Friday of my man candy fun-filled evening. However, I was informed that my morning workout was canceled and I had Friday off from work, so I of course started my weekend early! About mid day Friday I found out I had a meeting and my boss asked me to start on a brand new project, but I digress, and managed to still have an amazing couple of days.

My cat, Sterling has clearly been enjoying the fact that I have my desk his new bed set up.

Thursday night's Diva Night Event was a huge success! Yes I did meet the firefighters

 and yes they did dance, and we may or may not have Wobbled together...hopefully there are no pictures anywhere to prove one way or the other ;-)

Later that night I had to continue the dancing theme and get my 2-step on

Saturday I decided to have everyone over to my new place for Taco Night! This involved not only tons of food, and great people, but also all of us watching one of the best movies!

After all of this excitement the crew pre-gamed at DQ before heading out for another dance marathon kinda night to celebrate before this girl left for a week long cruise...I'm still upset that I didn't get to hide in her suitcase.

As you can see it was a really entertaining weekend, but nothing could prepare me for what happened last night.

Now, in order to appreciate this story I need to take you back to Thursday night when Hannah and I decided that it would be a good idea to get to know our bartender. We, very appropriately deemed him handsome Kyle for the evening. This evening ended with Hannah and I both writing our numbers on the same napkin and handing it to him as we closed out our tabs. Now mind you, we thought nothing of this at the time and were like hey whatever it's a funny story and we feel like laughing...until our phones buzzed last night with this message

Needles to say, I immediately called Hannah and we both died that he group texted us. And after a little bit of back and forth with him this is the conclusion that I got from my Ride or Die

So the moral of this story is that best friends really can share everything. Hope yall have a great Monday!
